I was asked this question just the other day my little sister Noemi. "What is art to you?" I told her it wasn't just pretty pictures by some person with a complicated name in some weird accent. I also told her I didn't know my exact definition of what art was. Then I thought and thought about what exactly art is and what it means to just me. Art to me is just simply self expression. Ones clothes, is the simplest for of art, I believe just a persons attitude is an art form.
In my opinion that's where it all starts. my clothes seperates me from all the other people that I come in contact with. Yes we may all shop at the same places in general, but we all have a style. I may buy the same flannel shirt as the next teenage girl, but I will wear it with my skinny jeans where that next girl will do it up in accordance to her own personal expression of style. Shoes, hair accessories, v-neck, crew neck, jeans or cords, they all can be expressed in a different manner. That's ones art, not only the wardrobe but the attitude and the hair. Don't forget the hair.
